Bio-Based Polyol Component
A solvent-free, castor oil-based polyether ester polyol for two-component polyurethane formulations, exhibiting good toughness, flexibility, and adhesion.
Minimum 80% bio-based content derived from castor oil origin
Completely solvent-free formulation for eco-conscious applications
Works with both aromatic and aliphatic polyisocyanates
Excellent adhesion on multiple substrate types
Spectrapol 1180 is a bio-based polyol component for use in two-component polyurethane formulations. With a minimum 80% bio-based content derived from castor oil, it offers an eco-conscious choice for coating, flooring, adhesive, and casting applications.
Compatible with both aromatic and aliphatic polyisocyanates, Spectrapol 1180 produces tough, flexible films with good adhesion on various substrates. It is particularly suited for self-levelling floor coatings when used with polymeric MDI.
With a hydroxyl value of 150-175 mg KOH/g and an equivalent weight of approximately 350, this polyol provides reliable performance in 2K PU systems. Flash point exceeds 250°C, and the product has a 12-month shelf life when stored at 25°C.
