Spectrabind Clear

Spectrabind Clear is a 2 pack system and the two parts are identified as Part A and Part B. They are used in a 1:1 ratio based on weight. Spectrum Chemicals provide the Spectrabind Clear in a Summer and Winter grade making it suitable for use throughout the year. Spectrum also provide this product in a range of sizes from kits form up to 200kg drums to suit all customer needs.

The substrate is critical to the strength of the paving and therefore should be prepared and cured according to the manufacturers instructions. To achieve optimum performance the substrate must be dry, due to it's relatively more reactive nature more care needs to be taken to protect from moisture when laying in higher temperatures. In particular extra consideration should be taken on surface temperatures, especially when laying on black tarmac. In the summer months the Spectrabind Gold range should be kept out of direct sunlight as if the temperatures get too high the viscosity becomes too low and will have a detrimental effect on performance.

Depending on the ambient temperature the system should be touch dry in 1-2 hours, however, should be left for at least 24 hours before use.
